My New York family ate here a year ago, loved it, were visiting us again and insisted we had a full family meal here. It definitely did not disappoint and far exceeded our expectations. There were nine of us. We went with a rising three and four year old plus a fractious three month baby and in many a restaurant would have been considered a chaotic nuisance.
Excellent food with so much flavour and naan breads to die for. Went for the £17.95 menu with so much choice. All the food was delicious. Special shout out to the lovely waitress (think it was Oshin - sorry if this is wrong). Nothing was too much trouble for her.
Very lovely place with delicious food. We went as a family for a birthday lunch and all 9 of us enjoyed the food and customer service. We tried various foods from the Nepalese and Indian menu of which all were delicious. Great experience overall and would recommend this place 100%.
Delicious food. Fresh and hot. The curry is very authentic. They use lovely fresh ingredients and taier make your curry to your specific taste and heat.Ibe had some good curry's around the folkestone and Hythe area, but this takes some beating. Absolutely beautiful.
We reside in Folkestone where good Indian/Nepalese restaurants seemed to have disappeared. Swagat was recommended and we were not disappointed. The green chilli chicken was excellent so was the lamb tikka to start. We also had a sizzling prawn dish and the aubergine dish. It was very very tasty. The food was freshly cooked and piping hot.
Went with my husband for dinner and it has to be the best Indian food we have ever had even the popadoms were amazing. The fabulous hostess and the lovely waitress made it a perfect night and the prices really reasonable for very generous portions. We will definitely return.
Very good restaurant with excellent Asian food and great service. I took my partner for a birthday celebration in Hythe and the staff surpassed themselves in making us welcome and the celebration a truly special occasion. Even came out with a mini birthday cake with candle at the end of the meal.
This is a really nice restaurant and the food was absolutely superb. Avijit (the waiter) was very friendly, polite, and helpful. The only downside is that it is a little tricky to find, as I actually walked past it twice. It's located within The Swan Hotel building, which definitely should help!
Excellent relaxed vibe, friendly, well presented restaurant. Really good service, interesting menu and the food was delicious. I've been fortunate to have travelled widely across India and Nepal and I can honestly say this restaurant in Hythe Kent serves authentic dishes. I had the goat curry which was delicious. We will go again.
What a wonderful find! We were staying locally to celebrate a 40th, 80th and 5th birthday with family. We ordered a large selection of dishes for take away. Every dish was absolutely fabulous. Perfectly spiced with quality meat and vegetables. Many of the family are avid curry fans and everyone commented.
