Welcome to The Swan Hotel

The restaurant serves different Asian cuisines and to my surprise that’s the best curry goat I have ever tasted .It’s just the right amount of spicy 🥵.I thought only Caribbeans prepare curry goat but even Asians prepare it too .Washed the food down with tequila 😏
I will definitely return to this restaurant when in Hythe. Food is on request so I enjoyed a beer while waiting for my meal .

Friendly staff, clean, comfy beds, breakfast was ok for the price, no problem here. Some of the comments on here I found myself saying “really” come on your by the seaside of course you going to have seagulls! Not a problem. I think some people expect too much, it’s in the town centre and it’s a pub, maybe people should book further out if they want peace and quiet. 

Our room was clean and a good size, decent shower,all the linen and towels were white and fresh, the staff very helpful with easy to use key codes for all doors. Our only grumble was breakfast after seeing pictures from a previous review showing a full plate ours was half of that with cheap white bread not toasted well and an overcooked egg on one plate and an under cooked.

We went for a birthday meal at the Swan Hotel last night. I have to say the food was extremely tasty and the staff were chatty, engaging and did a great job with the cocktails! Wow the non alcoholic option was just as good as the alcoholic. The cocktail waiter took great pride in making the best drinks that he possibly could . Thank you for a great evening. Also child friendly 🥰

The Family Room was very spacious and was very clean. The four of us were comfortable and very happy. The staff at the Hotel and Restaurant ( Swagat) were amazing and really took great care of us. The food at the Swagat was freshly made and the cook was really friendly. He would come everyday to the table to ensure we were happy with the food and what can be done to make it better next time. 

We stayed for one night in February while visiting friends nearby. Decent double room which was clean, spacious, and nice and warm. Good value at £60 plus cost of breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Off-road parking at the rear of the hotel. Good, well-cooked breakfast served promptly. Would stay again most definitely without hesitation.

Went to the Swagat last night and had the most beautiful, freshly prepared food. I would highly recommend the momos, can’t wait to eat here again, and the service was excellent, friendly, and welcoming. Staff can’t do enough — the whole experience was 10/10. Can’t wait to go back soon, and it was so reasonably priced too.

We booked 2x Double rooms for 4 nights online, and have just returned home after a great break at The Swan. Both rooms were generously sized, and spotless. The bathroom did slope a little due to the age of the building, but the shower was lovely and hot with free complimentary toiletries, and the 2nd bedroom had a full sized bath with shower over - again hot and with complimentary toiletries.

We had a meal on Tuesday evening and although the restaurant was empty the food was excellent. We started with a Masala Dosi and prawn kebab dish & they were both excellent the mains were two curries & naan bread all perfectly cooked. The wines were also very good with a Shiraz from India.

We went there for one day and the restaurant was closed, but they kindly opened it for us to enjoy a nice Indian meal. As always, it was excellent service and delicious food. I would definitely recommend trying the authentic Indian traditional dishes, which I think are truly worth a lot. Overall, it was a very good and memorable experience.
